Myth #1 All CBD Oils Are The Same
CBD, or cannabidiol, contains a vast spectrum of various plant molecules. Because of a quickly growing CBD market, quality is becoming more and more important in CBD products. Myth #2 CBD is the same as hemp
Hemp is a family of cannabis strains which are grown for food and fibers, while CBD is a molecular compound found in the plant’s extracts. CBD is only one of dozens of non-psychoactive phytocannabinoids that live in the leaves of hemp plants.
myth #4 CBD gets you “high”
Unlike marijuana or THC, CBD is non-psychotropic and does not cause a high. While THC has been said to induce states of euphoria and pleasure, CBD does not have the same effect. CBD does, however, have other positive health benefits like helping with physical and mental ailments.
Myth #3 CBD does not have medical benefits
Research on the medical benefits of CBD are still being explored. However, many sources claim that CBD oil can treat a range of health problems relating to anxiety, insomnia, depression, anorexia, chronic pain, glaucoma, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, drug addiction and withdrawal, high blood pressure, and more.
